  • As former fencers, my husband and I put a lot of thought into where we wanted to bring our young children to start fencing. I asked several friends still involved in coaching fencing and they recommended trying Sheridan. We have had the best experience and are so grateful to the studio.

  • While it's a great place for younger kids to fence, it's also a great starting place for adults with little to no prior experience! The coaches are fantastic, it's a fun environment, and a wonderful way to pick up a new hobby that happens to be an awesome workout.

What your child will learn

At fencing camp, your child will learn the basic concepts of the sport and build up the foundational techniques and skill-sets of a fencer. Each session builds incrementally on the previous ones, focusing on creating a fun and engaging environment for all of our campers. This includes activities, games, and drills to build our students’ confidence, sportsmanship, teamwork, coordination, balance, and strength. All of this is done in a warm and welcoming environment that exposed your child to the joys and challenges of the sport of fencing.

Our fencing facilities

Sheridan Fencing Academy has three fencing club locations in the New York City area, in Manhattan, Westchester and Queens.
